Q: After I click on one of the links and visit the site and I hit the back arrow on my browser to go back to JIFFYsource.com, it won't go back. Instead it stays on the site I visited. What can I do to get back?

A: You will notice that although this doesn't happen often with most sites external to JIFFYsource.com, it does happen on occasion however. Unfortunately, this is in the setup of the external site, and beyond our control at JIFFYsource.com. Therefore, you will need to exit the visited site, by clicking on the 'X' in the upper right hand corner of the webpage. This should take you back to JIFFYsource.com again in order to continue viewing our site.

A: First, try clicking on the Repeat Key (double reverse arrows on your browser). Most of the time you will find this takes care of the

problem. If not, the error could be due to a link problem on our site, or an issue with the server of the site you wish to go to. To be sure, refer to the ContactUs page and send us a message with the reason being "Invalid Link or Link Descrepancy Notification." Identify the site in question in order that we may investigate further and resolve. At JIFFYsource.com we perform random audits at periodic intervals of the links included on our site. Therefore, there may be sites that change hands, or are modified in some way between audits that would impact your ability to visit the site.

Q: I notice that there are times when the system seems very slow when I transition from one page to the next. What causes this?

A: This is most likely not an issue with the JIFFYsource.com site, and more likely it pertains to the response time of your internet service provider. To check, you may want to visit another website and see if the slow response time continues. If so, then you know its with your ISP. However, be aware that most all internet service providers encounter slow response time issues at periodic intervals during the day. This is mainly due to excessive traffic levels and heavy loads on the server during this time.

Q: When I go into some websites I receive a message asking if I wish to activate the ActiveX Controls. What are ActiveX Controls?

A: ActiveX Controls are small programs that are also a set of rules for how applications should share information, which can be automatically downloaded and executed by a Web browser. Reusable software components that incorporate ActiveX technology can be used to add specialized functionality, such as animation or pop-up menus, to Web pages, desktop applications, and software development tools.

Q: I have found a linked site that appears to be of a different subject matter than what is referenced on JIFFYsource.com. What can I do?

A: Please refer to the Contact Us page, and send us a note explaining what you have found, in the comments section, and choose "Invalid Link or Link Descrepancy" in the Reason field. We will investigate the external linked site and make appropriate updates or remove the site altogether from JIFFYsource.com.

Q: I have found a linked site that refers to Adults Only subject matter, and does not reference what is indicated on JIFFYsource.com. What can I do?

A: JIFFYsource.com does not purposely include external links to any websites with Adults Only or pornographic subject matter. Should you encounter an external link to a site that contains this type of material, please contact us immediately using the Contact Us page in order that we may remove the link to this site from JIFFYsource.com.
